We are lossing farmers at an alarming rate. The younger generation need support to stay in in this failing industry. The small farmer has a hard time keeping up with $100,000.00 tractors, pickups, at $4.00 dollar wheat, corn and other commodity prices. I just think this industry is or at least should be considered the backbone of of our society. Though it is not paid by by our tax dollars the goverment does dictate the commodity prices more so than the free market.
