She does this to men all day.
Just a bunch of words.
How about you do something instead of blathering on about the ‘sense of congress’. I’m sure a scowl from Nancy Polousi will stop someone on the otherside of the planet from (fill-in the blank for one of the disgusting acts described in the bill).
Ken: I agree.
I noticed how this resolution skirts around the issue of identifying Islam as the religion in question. Why do they even need a resolution to voice the contents herein? I find it laughable to the point of disgust that you hear nothing from the womens’ rights organizations. It is obvious why the US government would have issues in verbally voicing opposition to a religion that is certainly not peaceful and cares little about human rights. Would this not be a basic human right worth fighting for and arguing in favor of by members of these organizations??? I would hope so, but I hear little to nothing about it.
Of course I know that they are not solely referring to religious connotation. It is just my personal belief that this is the primary source of these issues.
Of course there are many others.
I just don’t think that this resolution has any solution to the problem. Is America not already against all of the abhorrent items listed??? I would hope so.
I think this resolution is more like a speech that Representative Jackson-Lee desires to shout from a worldwide stage. I agree with her message, I just do not see it producing any results.
She does skirt around denouncing this Islamic practice…Then she generalizes it…More subterfuge…
