Right a Native American Heritage Day… and a Black history Month how is this right?

I agree with Bud 9342. We owe them much more than that. Especially considering all of the atrocities imposed upon them, not to mention that every treaty that our government entered with them had been broken by our government. One day of recognition?

A Native American Heritage Day seems like a positive START. However considering the history of who they were and who they have been forced to become – I feel this special day of honor should be BEFORE the Thanksgiving Day holiday. “Food for thought” – pun intended.

Yup, and I think their should be a Norwegian/American day also, I am feeling way out in the cold on this PC stuff. Folks, we have done wonders for all people of this nation, what is needed is for all people to do more for themselves and their Country!
