    Who wouldn’t vote for this bill? A no brainer to me. No government should be allowed to spend more than it makes. Plain and simple.

    Balanced Budget Constitutional Amendment was introduced in 2007 by Sen. Lindsey Graham. It was shot down by one vote in the Senate.
    I really hope this passes. It’s pathetic to think that there has to be a created law to make our elected officials do what they should do without a law; balance their income/expenses and be careful with the authority and responsibility they’ve been given.
    Let me spend money my company allots me out of its intended purpose and I’d be charged with embezzlement and sentenced to jail.
    Why can’t these leaders in Government live by the same laws they are creating?
