How can there be this many votes and no comments? _
I actually don’t normally mind these sorts of things. They seem to do a lot of them so this one isn’t any different. Though I do find it rather silly that congress could officially state “Whereas Michael Jackson was labeled ‘The King of Pop’” with a straight face.
WTF!!! They need to focus on their job and stop wasting our tax money on crap that has nothing to do with running this country!
I propose a bill that prohibits this sort of bill from this point on! Hell, I bet they all read this one, unlike HR2454, the Patriot Act and all these bailout bills…
This is rediculous. Aren’t there enough REAL issues to be dealing with up there on the hill?
Our country is in deep deep dookie. Start worring about that and leave this useless stuff for the tabloids.
This resolution coming from Sheila Jackson-Lee, why am I not surprised?
Stupid crap like this has no purpose on the house or senate floors.
The people of Texas should hide their heads in shame, having elected a person to Congress who is willing to waste taxpayer money on a resolution such as this!!
Are you kidding me? Every Texan and Calf. (co-sponsor) who these individuals represent should consider helping them find another line of work outside of government.
I wonder how much the taxpayer spent drafting such a silly proposal?
Appears someone forgot to take their medication. This what happens when our representatives don’t take their meds.
Is this a joke? Who voted for this woman?

Michael Jackson was a wonderful example of someone who through talent, dedication and hard work achieved the ultimate “American Dream”. However he never stopped caring about his fellow human beings, especially children. He gave more money to various charities than any other pop star in history. He did a lot of wonderful things for this country and I think he should be awarded for it. He suffered greatly from narrow-minded people like those who have posted jaded and hateful comments here. He was never guilty of any crime, he just cared for children too much. I dare say that nobody else here can say that. If you really look into his life and the charges against him, like I have done you will see that this is true. However most people unfortunately only get their news from “Hard Copy” or “The Insider” and don’t take the time to understand something before forming an opinion. That is the definition of “close-minded”.
