9/14/2009--Passed House amended. Expresses the sense of the House of Representatives that:
(1) high school students should spend at least one week in September of their senior year learning about the U.S. Constitution, as knowledge of this country's founding document is critical to being an effective citizen; and
(2) upon reaching voting age, high school seniors should demonstrate their understanding of the rights and responsibilities of citizenship by engaging in civic learning activities on an issue of importance to them.
