Charge $5000.00 for every green card issued from recaptured visa numbers.
There are more then 200K visas Application are wasted. If 200K green cards are issued.
Grand Total of $10 Billion is added to the Economy.
All these 200K Green card holders will generate additional National revenue of 10 Billion every year due to the fact that, they are highly skilled and enterprising in nature , generating additional employment opportunity to the US economy.
This is the Golden opportunity, Pls re capture all the wasted Visas due Beurocratic delays.
We are not asking for creation of new visas, Just asking for Unused and recapturing of wasted Visas for all these years.
This bill will help relieve stress for legal immigrants already waiting for years (decade in some cases). These immigrants are already living in US, paying taxes and contributing to the society. This bill does not increase immigration level in US just streamlines the process and that is important for US competitiveness as well.
This bill will prevent the Brain Drain of this country,And will certainly improve the economy. After coming to this country one has been trained in a particular skill and he groomed to the highest extent from where he was.
So loosing this talent back to their home country is a loss for the United States.

This bill will go a long way, it will not only unite families but will also solve the housing crisis that our nation faces. Housing crisis is reportedly the major cause of the recent economic downturn. I sincerely hope and pray that honorable congress members will extend their full support to this bill.
First step in the right direction in favor of legal immigrants
Senators/Governers
This bill will be a major relief for skilled workers in USA . If this bill doesnot approve lots of skilled professionals and advanced degree holders will have to leave USA .
Thanks
R
This bill will greatly help relieve the skilled professionals who are suffering from immensely long waits.
In order to maintain American competitiveness in the 21st century, among growing competition from upcoming countries, it is required to retain highly skilled peopled who can make a change.
This bill takes care of all the honest, skilled, highly talented legal immigrants who are already residing in US and going through stress due to uncertainty and exploitations from all fronts.
If you want to fix recession, this is the only option..
Why this bill needs your attention: Since people with legal immigration initiative are in line for almost a decade to get a Green Card and then be able to live a decent living - as per their their dream and vission of United States of America. Until green card comes in their hands, their are all kinds of waits - those which are requirements for getting a Green Card and those which individuals(Princioals/their Families here and back home) have to consider to be in the que.
In process of long wait, families have to restrain and make await their necessary course of action(like any other human being/family) for unreasonable course of time. Which makes life painful for them and their siblings. Why not give us some relief - after all we are part of the great American Dream/Vision of yours.
Thank you for reading these lines - I am one of them.
This bill helps unite families & also provide relief to legal immigrants which basically means supporting community who are playing by rules and are in need of help.
I support this bill because, Legal Immigrants pay taxes to local counties, cities and state, federal governments. Not to mention, they bring rich education, experience to this great country. This country cannot afford to loose them cause of some law written way back to restrict the colonization of immigrants.(per country quota). These skilled immigrants are spread out and my personal doctor is from india and serving in rural NC, in a town where there are hardly 1000 homes. We need their services. When there is no quota restricting Students Visas, why restrict them on their service after completing the education?
This bill helps lot of people like me who are long waiting for their permanent residency and also to strengthen and rebuild the strong and stable economy to great land of opportunities, USA. We have been paying taxes and contributing from several years to this country. By recapturing the unused Visa numbers from past few years, so we can contribute more by buying houses and which helps to improve the economy. It won't need any changes to the existing immigration policy and process.
Legal immigrants are most disciplined people and they highly bolster the US economy. Why they should not be allowed to realize american dream and have to wait for permanent residency 8-15yrs ??
As a legal immigrant one who has been in this country LEGALLY almost 10 years, I support this bill with regards to recapturing of visas (Employment based)that will help LEGAL immigrants on the road to securing permanent legal residency.
Its good for the US Economy as Legal immigrants will fell comforted and try to invest & spend more money to boost it.
Have been a legal skilled immigrant hopeful for over 10 years. Have been paying tax and social security for over 10 years. Visa recapturing will help alleviate pain and wait for many like me before its too late. Its about time the numbers lost due to bureaucracy be utilized for skilled legal immigrants with graduate US degrees and not wasted.
I can think of several reason why this will beneficial for America:
a) These people are relatively younger and educated with high earning potential. They will help mitigate social security shortfall problems
b) These people are already in the work force and hence are not directly competing for the new jobs.
c) These people have been paying their taxes and doing everything by the books.
Hence I vote yes for the bill...
This bill will help alleviate the pain and remove the anxiety of committed & hardworking tax paying legal immigrants. This will help unite them with their family and facilitate in fulfilling the legitimate aspirations of children pursuing professional education like medicine in spite of being Valedictorians.
Congress should consider this long overdue bill sympathetically and pass it at the earliest.
US of A needs to fix the immigration mess that this country has created over the years ... this bill will be the first step towards that direction ....
People who are already in this country, earning good money and paying tax (in off course pumping money into social security and other benefits program) and law abiding educataed bunch of fools (yes they are fools as they expected their talent would be much appreciated in this country) would add to the prosperity of this country in the time of recession ...
Go Mr. Congressman/woman and make it happen .. USA needs all those money in the saving account (and money transferred out of the country every day back to home country) flowing into the economy - it doesn't need money borrowed from China rather it needs to free the money within to boost economy out of this ditch ...
All the best ....
The current per country quota system rations brilliance! Punishing an ethinic community for being intelligent is just wrong. The EB2-I category for people with Masters degrees in STEM from American universities is way back in 2000. This is a shame, these are people who will start companies and create employment. Providing justice for such people is long overdue.
Respected Senators/Governers,
There are many Employment based individuals who are stuck for their Green Cards since more than 9 Years due to Visa unavailibility. This bill will help reduce the backlog of Employment Based Immigration and will help to create the great number of jobs, some of them can start the business, buy houses, if they get GC, which will contribute a big help to strengthen the economy.
Thanks,
Abhi.
This bill is a win-win situation for everyone. The US economy will greatly benefit from the investments in housing and other areas by the LEGAL immigrants who have not been able to make investments in US due to the long (10 years and more) backlogs of GC processing and wasted GC visas.
This bill will not only help those who follow the law, but will also help US economy. Many people who are waiting for 485-approval are waiting on sidelines to buy homes or start businesses. This bill will improve falling home prices and create jobs. I think this is one of the rare situations where every one involved will benefit. At last some senators realized this. Of course big thing is this bill will remove mental agony for around half a million people living in the US.
This bill is long overdue. It will bring relief to the families and also help legal immigrants who are languishing in the backlogs due to wasted visas.
Commonsense dictates that when we have qualifying people waiting for 5-10 years on one hand for the visa numbers to be available and we're wasting a huge number each year due to bureaucracy on the other, something has to be done to correct it. And I think these Senators are on the right path. Kudos to them!
This bill will end the unnecessary wait for Permanent Resident applicants from the oversubscribed countries like Indian and China. This bill provides relief to these applicants and does not hold their professional and personal lives hostage.
This bill does not increase immigration quota but merely brings back the visa numbers that were wasted due to USCIS inefficiency.
passing of this bill is so important for people like us who have been in US paying taxes, working here legally which will help us and US if these unused visa numbers are used and green cards are issued for people like us which will let us to invest here in US.
This bill is very important for law biding legal immigrants, this bill helps in keeping the family united and in reducing Greencard retrogression.
This a bill that must be passed and enacted. This will help thousands of people and their families get permanent resident status in the USA. These people are hardworking, law abiding citizens for at least last 7-8 yrs. Many of them have homes in the USA. Not having a green card makes one feel very unsettled and in a state of flux unable to make any decisions. It also hurts the careers of individuals, stiffles innovation. People have started returning to their home countries resulting in a reverse brain drain. These types of individuals are highly educated and skilled who provide a competitive edge to the USA. Please pass this bill and help people get their green cards.
As an immigrant who's been staying in this country for more than 12 years yet still waiting in the queue for GC, I fully support this bill with regards to recapturing of visas (Employment based)that will help LEGAL immigrants on the road to securing permanent legal residency.
