This comment is inherently insensitive, but if any quantity of our senator’s time is being spent on pushing this bill, I’d like to ask that he review his priorities. Hopefully, it’s simply wildly popular and will pass itself.

I’d have to agree with the above comment. We’re talking about reparations for something more than half a century ago when there is so much suffering going on in the world right NOW. It amazes me that there is no sympathy for the millions of refugees in Africa and around the world that seems to get no attention from our government, not to mention the people suffering HERE and NOW.

PS I dont’ find your comment in any way shape or form insensitive. Is that you are afraid of being labeled an anti-semite?

would this bill also cover the gypsies? Cause I am a decendant of a survivor. But, this doesn’t even mention the non-jewish survivors. I’d like to file a claim too… Also since this bill would allow the courts to include cases involving the outside investors. The logs, records and reports indicate many of the companies were financed by Americans. And a few of them are still alive, can their assets be taken and converted to a fund to survivors and the decendent there-of? otherwise, this bill does nothing. it leave many of those from the camps out. No mention of the few asian groups in the camps, the gypsies, nor the irish, or the chinese-russian group from the norhtern camp. The groups mentioned in this bill only covers seven main camps. and not addressing the smaller camps and controlled-access shatties.

This is for an impartial forum, which it should be from the start. I do agree that it should be open to all people, but if we can get one group in at a time, then let’s start going.

The US wants to sue the French railroad. I hate to say this, but most of the plaintiffs will be buried by the time this gets resolved. What will be gained by this besides income taxes from winning the suit and annoying the French?

It is for all people, if you are impacted you need to get on the plaintiff list.

I am not sure what to do with this bill. I would like to know what this is going to cost the govenment.
