The makers of medical devices shoud be required to disclose possible dangerous effects of using their devices. They have a responsibility to us, as citizens, to inform us both of the benefits as well as the dangers associated with such devices that are intended to save lives and in turn have in some cases caused serious harm even death all of which may have been able to be be avoided if a warning label was required on all medical devices
I strongly believe that manufacturers of medical devices should not be immune from liability of the effects caused by their devices even if the device has been approved by the FDA. We as citizens have a right to know the dangers of these medicals devices and even more even have the right to a choice regarding whether we want to use them.
