Bush Administration should not rush into effect major new controversial regulations. Talk about rushing into effect…who’s doing what with the stimulus act. Now THAT’s controversial! And the Democrats want to jam that through without review by ANY review.
We have a new President. MOVE ON WITH IT!

inhoff2u, the idea that we should just forget about presidents as soon as their term is over is ridiculous, and I hope that you can see that pretty obvious point. A large majority of Bush’s last minute regulations were incredibly harmful to the country (as were most of his actions as President) and, to be perfectly honest, more spiteful than this bill and the mindset behind it.

Strictly a spiteful action. Nothing more.

Whether you agree with him or not he was still the President until Jan 20. What they are trying to do is tell any President that the last 90 days of your term you might as well pack up and go home because anything you do will not count. If you don’t think so read the House version of this bill. IT’S TOTALLY WRONG. Presidents are elected for a full 4 years whether we like them or not. Including this one.

Mr. Reid and the co-sponsors of this bill aren’t interested in returning government to the people. All they care about is continuing to beat on former President Bush.

When the american peopel are not given the HC reform bill to review, when it is slammed through in 3 days. Sometimes I wish policticans would really consider how obvious and frankly, useless, some of their bills are.

Does Mr. R actually get any sleep given the bills he’s writing?

You have got to be kidding me? Did Reid even read the bill? After what he pulled with the healthcare vote, you really have got to be kidding. What a joke and loser this man is..
