In a time when we need all the money we can get to pay for our domestic programs (not to mention the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq), the last thing we need to spend money on is humanitarian aid to Pakistan. If President Obama is looking for places to dramatically cut spending to help pay for the stimulus package and so on, this is it.
