    1. Bill is passed.

    2. Nobody buys games because they don’t know if they’re good because all gaming videos and reviews and such are illegal.

    3. Gaming companies make less money, so they make less games.

    4. Youtube has a rapid decline in videos due to less games and less gaming videos, regardless of their legality.

    5. Owning Youtube, Google begins losing profits.

    6. Government bails Google out.

    7. Economic depression.

    8. ???

    Also, think about this.
If this bill is passed in its current state, that would make performing karaoke on YouTube a felony. Lots of big musicians who bring in absolutely loads of money started this way (Justin Beiber is one example).

In this bill’s current state, it is simply too vague. Reword it so that these kinds of loop holes cannot be exploited, so that the video game community will stay largely unaffected (a large portion of video game advertising is actually peer-to-peer ’Let’s Play’ videos), so that innocent acts go unpunished, and that the people who are really committing the crimes get what they deserve, and we’ll talk.

ok i use YouTube allot. i also have an account that i still use. i used to upload music videos from my favourite artists. but due to this law i cannot do that. i did it for fun, like we all do, we do it for fun. why cant people leave well enough alone and let us all be free and happy. the artists put the music out there for us to enjoy it, so let us enjoy it the way we want to

If the the bill was passed here’s what would happen

    1. The government cracks down on YouTube users and shuts down their account
    2. Google shuts down YouTube
    3. Almost every YouTube user would be in a federal jail
    4. The internet becomes extinct and people would have to rely on thing that don’t involve the internet
    5. The Fair Use Act is abolished

Not only would this affect YouTube, but pretty much the whole internet! Fanart and fanfiction will be illegal. Some of the most beautiful art pieces out there are fanart! Passing a bill like this would be a total disaster. Fanart promotes! I wouldn’t have found out about most of the things I’ve spent big bucks on if it wasn’t for gorgeous fanart. If you’re going to make that illegal, then get ready to put millions of people on deviantART in handcuffs!
