9/24/2009--Passed Senate without amendment. (This measure has not been amended since it was introduced. The summary of that version is repeated here.) Extends condolences to the families of those who lost their lives, and to families who lost their homes and other property, in the floods in Georgia. Thanks the people of Georgia and the surrounding states who worked to protect people from the rising floodwaters. Expresses support as the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) responds to the needs of the affected people and communities. Honors the emergency responders for their bravery and sacrifice.
