What an utter waste of time and resources. This is absolutely nothing more than the most vulgar attempt to drum up support amongst the religious base, and has no place in civil government.
I feel like a broken record having to make this point but, freedom to do what the majority approves of is no freedom that needs defending. Rights are there to protect the minority from the majority.
It is that protection which is why freedom OF religion and freedom FROM religion are the same thing from a civil point of view.
if they want to pray let them if they do not want to pray then just do not pray. sounds that simple. the way i see it is that there was never supposed to be freedom from religion.Read the bible The government is established by GOD.Render to Ceaser that which is Ceaser’s and render that which is God’s to God.
