I am writing as your constituent in the 8th Congressional district of Washington. I oppose S.1467 - Respect for Rights of Conscience Act of 2011.
This should be renamed "Respect for Religious Dogma Act." Under current law, no one is required to use contraception or other "satanic" technologies. Conscience has nothing to do with it.
Religion must not be allowed to undermine human rights, or to permit individual employers to deny them.
It wasn't that long ago when many Christians in America...
