The US needs to end this non productive War on Drugs. This Bill certainly does not advance that purpose.
I am writing to express my disgust with bill S.605 and H.R. 1254. There are countless products being propagated throughout this country creating enough health and safety risks to this nation’s people. However, nearly all continue to be distributed without any concern from our Government. Things such as clinical drug testing, many of the drugs being released from the pharmaceutical companies, as well as everyday products such as highlighters and aerosol cans.
The government is stressed enough as it is with excessive overspending. Why do you continue to spend money that we do not have fighting a war you will not win?
The bill S. 605 and H.R. 1254 will cause immense undue expense for the federal government and will not end the problems these bills aim to fix. Save the time and money and quit wasting precious resources going after a losing battle.
We should be ending the war on drugs, not banning more substances.
