This has nothing to do with “free speech” and everything to do with making piles of money from quackery “supplements” that either do nothing or cause harm.
It’s pretty simple: If you want to sell things that people put in their bodies, you must first prove that they’re safe. If you want to sell drugs, you must first prove that they’re effective.
Quoting your own “scientific research” on a bottle of drugs and letting the consumer put their life in their own hands is not good enough. We need objective proof.
