(2) each human life begins with fertilization, cloning, or its functional equivalent, at which time every human has all legal and constitutional attributes and privileges of personhood; and
(3) Congress, each state, the District of Columbia, and all U.S. territories have the authority to protect all human lives.

I am writing as your constituent in the 11th Congressional district of Illinois. I support H.R.212 - Sanctity of Human Life Act, and am tracking it using OpenCongress.org, the free public resource website for government transparency and accountability.
It is now a commonly accepted fact that human life begins at conception. Half of abortions are females, so allowing them to be born would seem to be a very pro women's health issue.
