As a rural letter carrier since 1994, I have seen the problems the USPS faces. It is not just the decline in mail volume, or the salaries and benefits paid the workers. What has continued to be a larger part of the problems the USPS faces is the rising overhead in costs of operations, including the rising salaries of an over-abundance of man... -

Please reject Rep. Issa's bill on the postal service and instead revise downward the ridiculous requirement that the postal service prefund 75 YEARS worth of pension money. No other business, public or private, has this onerous requirement. It was meant to break the USPS so it could be privatized (along with all the other crap Repubs are ... -
