Official Summary

9/13/2011--Introduced.Testimonial Free Speech Act of 2011 - Prohibits any federal official or employee from restricting the dissemination of a testimonial containing a consumer's actual perception of the mitigative, preventive, or curative properties of any food or dietary supplement based on the consumer's experience with that food or dietary supplement. Declares that a person is not violating federal law if such person disseminates a testimonial that he or she reasonably believed is covered by this Act. Applies this Act to the dissemination of a testimonial by the manufacturer of a food or dietary supplement for purposes of marketing.
