Stop this Bill! I do not want my cell phone minutes “wasted” by a Robocall.

Robot calls are harassment and nuisance. Many robot calls are scam, fraud.
Again, a Republican threatens to make our lives more miserable. $$$$$$$$$ is never enough for this greedy sytem. Many people are sooooo pissed off by all these bad news and lobbying. Greed of the corporations (minority) create unnecessary suffering for our people (majority). People already struggle, then companies decided to devote their “careers” to make our lives more miserable.
We don’t have billions of dollars to influence Congress with “donations”. We only have the truth, justice, common sense and our people on our side.

A bill, HR 3035 (PDF), has been introduced in Congress, that would create numerous exceptions to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, which banned autodialed and prerecorded robot calls to cell phone numbers. If passed, HR 3035 would permit a wide range of autodialed and prerecorded calls to cell phones that are currently prohibited, and would preempt practically all state laws providing similar protections. This is being applauded by debt collectors and banks (PDF) … as if the bailouts weren’t enough, now they get to make you pay for their calls to you.”
