I am writing as your constituent in the 18th Congressional district of California. I live in California which needs no restriction on magazine capacity and also needs a firearm "behind every blade of grass".
When other countries can stamp out a large number of magazines and AK47s quickly, then send a few hundred thousand troops at one of our border states, it would be nice to not have a bolt action with 5 rounds that wouldn't even suffice in WW2.
