Do not worry and confuse Korean with China. Korea is a developed, democratic, capitalist country with modernized big middle class who will be big US consumers. They are not cheap, uneducated workers who will replace American workers, but they will be our customers who buy US goods.
Remember, South Korea is the most pro-American Asian country. Korea won’t manipulate their currency or put tariff on US goods. In exchange, we can get more options in our choices of cars, appliances and such here in US.
Americans should be very proud of today’s South Korean economic achievement because it was America that saved them from communist, crazy North Korea.
