Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,CommentsClose CommentsPermalink

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘Veterans’ Education Protection Act’.CommentsClose CommentsPermalink

SEC. 2. REVISION OF 90-10 RULE.

(a) Revision of 90-10 Rule- Section 487(a)(24) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 1094(a)(24)) is amended by inserting after ‘other than’ the following: ‘veterans’ education benefits (as defined in section 480(c)) or’.CommentsClose CommentsPermalink





(b) Conforming Amendment- The heading for subsection (d) of section 487 of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 1094(d)) is amended by inserting after ‘Non-title IV’ the following: ‘and Non-Veterans’ Education Benefits’.CommentsClose CommentsPermalink

SEC. 3. EFFECTIVE DATE.
