1/25/2012--Introduced.Repeals provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and the Internal Revenue Code, and rescinds all unobligated funds, that provide for the establishment and funding of the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute to identify priorities for, and establish, update, and carry out, a national comparative outcomes research project agenda, as well as that provide for the dissemination of the research findings published by the Institute and other government-funded research that are relevant to comparative clinical effectiveness research. Rescinds all remaining unobligated balances available to the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality for purposes of comparative effectiveness research. Requires the total amount rescinded by this Act to be deposited in the Treasury to pay down the national debt.
