I prefer to have my whole post posted at once, and not selectively have partial phrases chosen by some mystery person out there.

I figured they would like Swahili x-D

Liberal group pushes for $382 billion stimulus
By Erik Wasson – 03/07/11 11:55 AM ET

A liberal think tank is calling on Congress to embrace a $382 billion stimulus plan to lower unemployment.

Officials with Demos told reporters on a conference call that their new stimulus plan would create 8.2 million government jobs over two years while lowering unemployment from 8.9 percent to 4.5 percent.

THe only problem I can clearly see with this bill is that the local governments are also struggling in todays economy and if this Bill should pass it would have to be carefully watched, when and were these funds go. Also while it mentions creating jobs it specifically geared to creating government work and federal work. Has no clear language about creating local jobs outside of government work and clearly wants to take away any benefits for the unemployed. Another crafty Bill written with the language to increase government not to reduce government.

The issue of qualitative military aid for Israel becomes more essential for us, and I believe also more essential for you," the newspaper quoted Barak as saying. "A strong, responsible Israel can become a stabilizer in such a turbulent region.

    Dear --——

I am writing you today as a long term unemployed American. In a time when unemployment is so high, when there is one job for every five job seekers, millions of Americans simply cannot be left behind. We are tax paying citizens that are responsible for each and every one of you still being employed. We deserve to be treated better than this. Your colleague Representative Conyers recently introduced H.R. 870, the Humphrey-Hawkins 21st Century Full Employment & Training Act. Combined with H.R. 589 to provide temporary financial relief for those who have exhausted benefits until H.R. 870 can be implemented it is simply the right thing to do, both for the economy and for millions of Americans unable to find work in it.

EVERYONE keep FAXING and EMAILING this letter or your own letter to your US REPS in Congress. HR 589 HR 870 and BUDGET CUTS to social service programs will not happen IF the American people grow this movement!!!!

And, where is the media coverage about the gangster, banksters?

This year Bank of America is receiving the “income tax refund from hell” — $666 million for 2010, according to its annual report filed in late February 2011. This is following a $3.5 billion refund reported in 2009. Bank of America’s federal income tax benefit this year is roughly two times the Obama administration’s proposed cuts to the Community Development Block Grant program ($299 million).

    The Dem vs Rep troll…..

These party trolls are individuals who took psychology courses in college. Their goal is to cause disruption in our communication. You will see them appear when a true intellectual exchange of ideas that might cause others out there to change their way of thinking has materialized. This is when they jump on the comments board. They will use subtle euphemisms like “I care” and “I want to see you guys succeed.” But their true goal is to see the flow of ideas stop or be diverted.
Remember these are not your common trolls. They truly believe themselves more intelligent than you. They think they can disrupt our focus using parlor trick psychology.

I am starting to get sick again. I can’t cope with it all. I have to stop for a little while, stop listening to the news, stop going online, just stop thinking about this whole mess. I eat my fricken water and seaweed crap and go dig in my dirt out back and fish for some dinner and that is it. I’m done.
See you all in about a week hopefully.

This is what Congress really feels about the underemployed.

I question the purpose of the home refinancing deal, All it appears to accomplish is to give money to banks. the unemployed are going to loose their homes without a tier five, all that the bill that the republicans are trying to revoke does is insures that the banks will not loose only when they eventually foreclose on the unemployed. The money would be much better spent to fund 589 then people could pay their mortgage.

when people owe twise what their house is worth alloing them to keep paying double what it would cost to rent the same place is not helping people, but then their is the pride thing, I no longer have pride.

Right and I agree but as I mentioned this targets the Underemployed meaning the people that are barely making it with part time work. If this Bill makes it, it will add to the Unemployed we already have. But I understand your point about protecting banks so they do not lose over bankruptcy, Bad Leasing and bad closers. But then again House market was set to fail, when they seized the opportunity to drop certain risks in credit in obtaining a home to new buyers only. This is the only way real estate seen a clear path in boosting the housing market at the time and remember the economy was not doing all that bad at the time. How quickly things change !!!!!!

    From From the Trenches:

Actor Charlie Sheen had his twin sons taken from him last week after a conflict with the producer of Two and a Half Men. His story was reported on every channel and radio station across this country and the mainstream propagandists flocked to interview him. By the second day he had a million people tweeting in his defense.

If you do not know by now that the corporate elitists control absolutely all mainstream forms of communication you are incapable of learning. Stories like Charlie Sheen & Lindsey Lohan’s are good for about 1 weeks worth of distraction, making them a premium in the industry.

The sick thing about it is that the mush minded mentally deficient American public jumps on every opportunity to be diverted from reality.

If the mainstream propaganda was true news and the truth was reported as to what is really going on in this country, three quarters of the population would run and hide, while the other quarter would attack Washington DC.

  • Legion1 03/08/2011 9:35am

If we 99ers want to get anywhere we have got to break the news blackout that has removed us from the thoughts of everyone but ourselves. If a quarter of the 99ers would just come to a site like From the Trenches and vent their rage every day all day long, our enemies, the elitists in power, would see that we are no longer on our knees begging them for salvation, but rather that we are accumulating in a single place plotting strategies for their demise while getting one another worked up into a frenzy.

    Then they would start worrying.

As long as they see that we are still writing letters and emails begging for help from those who do not care as we are continuing to cry the blues on ten thousand sites scattered around the United States, they will continue to ignore us as we offer no threat to their profit taking through the accumulating of debt.

If we live long enough we are going to get to see what it takes to get results.

  • Legion1 03/08/2011 9:36am

When that day comes and they do act to address our situation it will be because they will be afraid not to. We must find a way to confront them and get in their face. We must make them see our rage. We must make them fear us, for fear is the only thing that gets through to them.
