And as I watch the powers at be think they can crush Occupy by shutting down camps that housed a tiny representation of our numbers, while some try to co-opt us at the same time my smirk grows.
We put tens of thousands on the streets of NYC on very short notice.
Now groups of Occupy are popping up out of nowhere at political events like black ops…
And during this long dark winter of discontent Occupy will be lighting up the electronic airwaves as they communicate, grow, and strategize.
The days of those that got super rich by trampling countless others will end. The days of those that made a political career of keeping their nose up the ass of those people will end.
2012…
Much has been written on 2012.
Lately when I listen to those trying to discredit Occupy I get a big smirk on my face.
In a few short months Occupy went to the top of the search engines top searches for 2011.
We have well over 100 million search results in that time
We made headline news over and over on all main stream media outlets.
We changed the political topic of discussion in America.
And now: Time Magazines #1 of the top 10 everything for 2011, OCCUPY!

These hands were once employed, this body once of use. Now cast aside a castigated, a figure of abuse. Those years I gave ‘em everything, count for nothing at all. I’m dying a lonely man, who used to stand ten feet tall
How has this happened, why should this be? Has the world gone mad, or is it just me? Where is my memory, where has gone my life? And the realization cuts like a knife. I have been trying to come up with some fitting words for this anniversary of Peal Harbor.
I can not come up with any better than these from a Pear Harbor survivor.

Some try to claim that Occupy is dead because some in the main stream media are talking bad about them.
I think the influence of main stream media is way overrated these days.
AOL lists Occupy as #8 in their hot searches for 2011, and shows 137,000,000 search results for it.
The paradigm is changing, and big media owned by big money is not the source of information for many now.
Maybe that is why the want to censor the web so bad…

And that’s just ONE bank! Regardless of where one stands on the issue of the Federal Reserve’s authority and functions, the glaring criminality of the big banks is breath-taking. They have literally raped the land for their own greed and selfishness.

A Christmas gift for OWS:
Evidence of just how much OWS has influenced the national conversation comes from Frank Luntz himself, the right-wing uber-equivalent of Lawrence Lessig on the left, i.e., the guys who make all those talking points. (Lessig tries to, but he never seems to succeed as much as Luntz.)

Was you side step purdier than a Massachusetts Senator! =D
I long ago realized that the “Conservative” talk shows, While immensely popular were the downfall of the conservatives, How? well while they offer great political insights they offer ZERO solutions, And they are not even slightly interested in doing so, Infact if there is a strong candidate they quickly cripple them to even out the field. Makes for a better “Show” and that is what they are just a Show. Here is something to consider, Beck Rush and all them “Conservative” host’s are money grubbing snakes right? They dont care what they “support” just as long as they bring home the Big bucks right? I think all Liberals would agree with that.
Knowing that, then it only makes sense that Most Americans are Conservative, If it were the other way around then they would have “Liberal” talk shows. and Beck and Rush would be running down the Conservatives.
