Official Summary

1/5/2011--Introduced.Sunset All Czars Act - Prohibits the use of appropriated funds to pay for any salaries or expenses of any task force, council, policy office within the Executive Office of the President, or similar office that is established by or at the direction of the President and is headed by a Czar. Defines "Czar" as the head of any such office who:
(1) is appointed to such position (other than on an interim basis) without the advice and consent of the Senate,
(2) is excepted from the competitive service,
(3) performs or delegates functions which would be performed or delegated by an individual appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Senate if not for the establishment of such task force or office, and
(4) does not have an existing removal date.
