It’s fascinating that the Federal Government could even conceive that it has any authority to kill one of it’s citizens. The Constitution is clear that they don’t even have the right to search us without some cause that is justified by a court with a warrant. The fact that a law is being proposed to explicitly restrict the Federal Government from killing it’s citizens is incredible !

Killing anyone for any reason is not acceptible nor is it justified. That being stated, in the circumstance of clear and immediate injury or death to an innocent person or group of people the threat must be disabled by the most effective means available. At no time assume fatal force is necessary. Osama Bin Laudin is dead ….was he armed? Could he have had a fair trial? Is it possible US wanted him dead for undisclosed reasons?….. Has his death stopped the Taliban? True, he is not a US citizen. Nor are we examples of the highest morals, values and ethics that we claim America to be. Bottomline: No. An American will not be killed by their own government without a fair and timely trial by a jury of their peers
