12/28/2012--Passed Senate without amendment. (This measure has not been amended since it was introduced. The summary of that version is repeated here.) Former Presidents Protection Act of 2012 - Amends the federal criminal code to eliminate certain limitations on the length of Secret Service protection for former Presidents and their spouses and children. Authorizes the Secret Service to protect:(1) former Presidents and their spouses for their lifetimes, except that protection of a spouse shall terminate in the event of remarriage; and
(2) children of a former President who are under age 16.
