    Any conservative who claims to be against big government abuses should be against this bill, which would extend big government spying powers under the Patriot Act, without any attempt to reform those laws. It’s time to let the Patriot Act die.

    Anyone who on one hand promotes strict adherence to the Constitution and on the other supports a bill such as this is a hypocrite. This includes many self-described conservatives and Tea Party “members”, whose support for liberty and limited government sometimes lasts just long enough to get voted into office.
