I am appalled that such an act has to be written. Justices are supposed to be well-enough informed and have a mature judgment so that they avoid putting themselves in a position of committing unethical acts. The Senate bears a burden of responsibility for accepting Scalia, Alito, and Thomas as nominees and should join in to support the passage of a similar resolution. The last thing this country needs is to have acts of chicanery emanating from any member of the Judiciary.
