How Hard is this, Other Countries have their official Language, What’s so hard to do this for The United States !!!
To become a U.S. Citizen, the rule states that you must speak, read, write, and understand English. If people reside in the US full time without a work permit or visa and cannot speak english, chances are they have not gone to school here and are probably are undocmented. You would think if these people want to become citizens and pass some sort of immigration reform, They would want to learn englisn and be in support of this bill as english is necessary to become citizens and part of our country.
How about a law requiring new members of congress to go through a Constitution course, that doesn’t derive from the board of education.
