I am writing as your constituent in the 2nd Congressional district of Maine. I oppose H.Res.489 - Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the symbols and traditions of Christmas should be protected for use by those who celebrate Christmas.
I am beside myself that not only does this violate the separation of church & state, I cannot believe that TAX PAYERS DOLLARS are being used for such ludicrous bills as this one.
