The only way to avoid major spending reductions that would substantively default on the promises made to seniors, maintain an adequate defense, and avoid fiscal collapse, is for the economy to grow quickly.
The Fair Tax would make the Unites States a tax haven.
- Corporate headquarters would relocate here, and create jobs.
- Our manufacturing sector would shed it’s current tax DISadvantage of 15 – 17%, and have a tax advantage over other industrialized countries. Companies would build manufacturing plants here in the U.S. so they can ship U.S. made goods to their home.
- The import/export ratios would substantively shift from current trends towards more balanced trade.
Neither the income or payroll tax affect illegal income, the Fair Tax does.
The “prebate” is only for legal residents. Illegal immigrants would place themselves in the highest tax bracket.
