I support recognition of our troops who defended Bataan; two of them were my Grand uncles, Elmer and Bob Swenson, but my! they (barely) survived the Death March, came home and lived full lives and have passed on many years ago. This gesture is a little late. Better a monument at Arlington or somewhere else. People aren't going to see a medal. People need to see something as a remembrance. Something with all of their names chiseled in. I know you'll look bad for not supporting something seming...
