“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” ~#2
“The right of the people to be secure in their persons … shall not be violated” ~#4
Currently, with people about to attempt felonies being able to get guns violates both the 2nd and 4th amendments. The status quo of any mentally deranged person being able to have a gun doesn’t make our state more secure, meaning they are not covered by the second amendment, and their putting peopel in danger violates the fourth amendment. You must support this bill to follow the full constitution.

The needs of the many outweigh the desires of the few.

I think that it is disgracefull that he used the tragedy in Arizona to push his anti-2nd Amendment agenda, an agenda that he has pushed his entire career. No class at all!!

Also, it is a good thing that MSNBC aka “the gun control network” has very low ratings and no credibility. .

This liberal arrogance is going to effect them at the polls just as the failure of the so-called assault weapon ban of 1994. President Obama knew not to mention this at the State of the Union address because he knew that this would drive up gun sales and hurt democrates in 2012, but the politicians from the most liberal of areas continue to push gun control even if it means hurting their own party.

We elect Senators to speak for and represent us not to rule over us as royalty. Shame on him and his hatred toward the U.S. Constitution. .

and your point is? the purpose of buying guns is not the governments concern its to keep the government in check. the whole notion that American citizens need some sort of paperwork to own a gun is ludicrous. When government tries to stop the American people from buying guns in any way shape or forum thats when you gotta watch out. It is our duty to own arms to protect our selves from bad people and bad government. If government disagrees with you they can slap you with the terrorist label or the crazy label and take your guns away because they know what guns you have and how many. learn your rights kid.

What planet are you living on? If bills like these pass you will find that government can label any one with the crazy sticker if they don’t agree with the government agenda. the right to bear arms is to keep government in check and to protect our selves from harm. its a god given right.
