As a New York resident, supporting the Sportsman Act is probably a bit odd as there aren't many hunters or fisherpeople in the city (even though it's quite easy to go fishing out in Sheepshead Bay or Montauk, and there is a lot of NY State land that I use on Long Island during hunting season).
