no congress, you don’t get to say your gonna publish stuff on the internet and then at the last second pull back and say “no wait, we need to review it for national security reasons” no, it was already scheduled to be published, if you have dirty secrets in there too bad, that’s the reason we publish things like this.
It is in fact humorous to see how desperate they are to hide “sensitive” information. Transparency is the key to a successful government operating FOR the people. They know this, so their actions are showing their true colors.
The things they will use such a bill for will have little to do with national security. What we would end up with yet another series of documents that are overly classified and/or wrongly classified on the grounds that they may cause problems for an election cycle, or an official’s pet cause.
