I am writing as your constituent in the 48th Congressional district of California. I oppose S.646 - National Windstorm Impact Reduction Act Reauthorization of 2011. The money being put towards this is ridiculous. The federal government has no right to help pay for damages to one of its states. That responsibility lies with the state and local governments, and local charities.
