Cue the predictable “amnesty” cries, as if it were suddenly a dirty word. Nevermind that saying “it’s illegal, end of story” does not remotely answer things. Just because something’s illegal, doesn’t mean the maximum sentence is appropriate.

This is a crock – asking an illegal how long they’ve been here? Good grief – no one is going to tell the truth and we cannot prove they are not. Also, tuition assistance and instate tuition for illegals going through this process? What about actual American citizens who need that money? And what happens if the illegal isn’t granted status? Will they pay those monies back? NOT.

sterilize and then deport all illegal immigrants. build an electrified fence across our southern border. Make English the national language of the USA.

Why? What have all these illegal immigrants done wrong? Why the southern border only? If you hate all illegal immigrants, why discriminate between Mexico and Canada? Is one better? Also, how exactly is the government going to find all these illegal immigrants? What are they supposed to do once they’re deported?

Please quit picking the pockets of American taxpayers to subsidize illegals!!!!Higher education slots should go to American citizens FIRST!!!

Do you want a revolution here? No country long survives that does not put the interests of it’s citizens FIRST.

Why are you wasting my tax dollars even discussing this? As far as I’m concerned if you support this or any other bill that favors illegals over citizens you are traitors to our country.

Question: how does our inept government plan on verifying whether or not an UNDOCUMENTED 30 year old has been in the country since they were 16?

Also, the previous “last ever” amnesty was in 1986 so this bill overlaps the “last” amnesty.

Why even have laws? This government disgusts me.

You can ask when or how long someone has been in the US, and get whatever answer they give you but what matters is how they can prove it. That goes for anyone in the US. Legal or not, you have records of being here and of how long back those records show. School, doctors, hospital, I95, rent, drivers, taxes paid etc… Illegal will be granted status change before getting or being able to get a tuition of any kind, i believe you need a status change to show before being approved for tuitions. It all starts by first getting an approval, then being able to move on to the next step. It will take up to 6years if I’m not mistaken for a person to be granted any final status. Good grief is right, let some people get there dreams! A lot of those illegals love and care for this country more then others that have the status or was born here!!!

Wow, That is just disĀ·gustĀ·ing. I hope you know that, and English the national language that is just plain racist. USA is a free country and everyone deserves rights. I hope they let the undocumented minors become citizens of the USA because then they can go to college and we could have some famous doctors and musician’s.
