I am writing as your constituent in the 5th Congressional district of Illinois. I oppose S.968 - PROTECT IP Act of 2011, please do everything you can to stop it from passing.
I am all for stopping the piracy problem but this bill is NOT the answer. It actually doesn't do a very good job of addressing piracy since there are so many ways to bypass the blocked sites -- by entering an IP address, for example.
