I am writing as your constituent in the 4th Congressional district of Minnesota. I oppose H.R.226 - Support Assault Firearms Elimination and Reduction for our Streets Act, and am tracking it. This is a senseless bill that targets a class of weapons based on appearance. A clear definition that describes the functionality of an assault weapon has not sensibly been instated, therefore it is not reasonable to ban a weapon solely on cosmetic features.
Sincerely,
Manuel Jaramillo -

Proposing a tax credit of $2000 for any "assault weapon" turned in is a huge misappropriation of money. Anyone with a brain ... -
