I oppose H.R.624, the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act, because it goes against the spirit of the 4th Amendment. Our data stored on others' servers is still ours, so law enforcement should be required to obtain a search warrant when they want to search that data.
Unfortunately, the bill has passed the House, and I'm embarrassed to say that the representative from my district voted in favor.
If CISPA makes it out of committee, I urge you to vote against it. There are better way...
