I oppose S.150 - Assault Weapons Ban of 2013, and am tracking it using OpenCongress.org. I respect your office and position on this and hoping that you as an elected official will uphold the rights given to us when this nation was created.
The 2nd Amendment was created that citizens should have the same weapons as the enlisted members of the military at the time to successfully defend from an attack from either an enemy or an over zealous government.

I just want to reaffirm my opposition to any restrictive gun laws that would allow LEOs access to weapons the general citizens cannot have access to. Using the argument put forth by the Gun Control proponents, if these are weapons of war, then why do law enforcement need them, unless the job is to declare war on the American people.
