I am writing as your constituent in the 4th Congressional district of North Carolina in support of S.160 - Medical Debt Responsibility Act of 2013.
My family is lucky in that I have a stable job, good income, and are able to pay our regular bills every month. However, due to unexpected medical bills that went to collections before we were able to pay or settle them, our credit score is too low for us to purchase a home.
