If she wasn’t white and rich, she’d be in prison. She is a drug addict. No excuses Cindy — cut the nonsense, nobody forced you to take the drugs, nobody forced you to go doctor shopping. She is an addict, and apparently she successfully completed rehab, which is terrific, but if she’s honest she must admit that there is a constant risk of relapse. Which is true for all drug addicts. Even the rich white Republican ones.

Isn’t it interesting how the Republicans are so “compassionate” when it comes to rich or powerful white people. Cindy’s a drug addict but she’s a role model, an inspiration, someone to admire because of that. Some poor 15 year old black kid who is a drug addict is awful, terrible, garbage, put them in prison and keep them there. Like Jeb Bush’s daughter. Like Rush Limbaugh. Entirely different set of rules for the powerful, rich Republicans. Like Palin having the teen pregnancy in her family, which Republicans used to condemn but apparently now it’s a prerequisite for getting the good seats at the convention.

I hope the Republicans don’t start running murderers for office, telling us how much they should be admired because they finally stopped. Wait a minute what am I saying? Have I been asleep for 8 years?

Everybody has their own demons and skelatons….don’t be so judgemental. Very few families are able to escape unscathed from these types of things in today’s world….I hope that you don’t live to regret being so critical of other people. You must young because an older person would realize that life doesn’t always go exactly the way we plan … the young see things as black or white..no gray but life has a way of showing us the difference.

    -NEW YORK STATE-

    Good Day all,

H.R.6867 was just “INTRODUCED” but it will soon be modified once it is presented to the “HOUSE” then the “HOUSE” will present it’s own measure of this bill with more weeks than the H.R.6867 proposed (7 weeks).

I am projecting that It will be for an additional 13-20 extra Federal emergencey extended benefits possibly with an extra $50.00 Capped/Added in and an additional 13-20 weeks for states above 6% unemployment rate.

This modified version of the H.R.6867 will “QUICKLY PASS” on it’s own, it will not be part of an “STIMULUS” or
    “ADD-ON”.

This modified version of the H.R.6867 will not have any obstacles from “THE REPUBLICANS” AT ALL!

It will be modified with an new H.R.# of course and presented to “PASS” with more weeks because the situation “RIGHT NOW” is “MAYHEM”.

Just think about it, even though they recently passed a 13-week extension which is still underway, enacting only a 7-week extension does not “Serve the cause-Purpose” at all!!!

“THE REPUBLICANS KNOW THIS”, and they want their guy to “WIN”.

IT IS AN ELECTION YEAR WHERE “HYPOCRISY” WILL MASK ITSELF AS AND FOR “DEMOCRACY”

ALL FOR THE SAKE OF ELECTION VOTES!!!

IT WILL ALSO HAVE SMOOTH SAILING IN THE "SENATE AS WELL!!!

I spoke and shared about this yesterday with you all. AND WHAT HAPPENED? BOOYAH!! BAM!! H.R.6867 Was introduced.

Once again all, this is just my opinion and not based on actual facts. I just want to be clear to you all about that.

I just “KNOW” how Congress works and Enacts, been watching them for a very long time now…

Once again, before you can all expect it, this new modified bill will “SOON COME TO REALITY THEN COME TO PASS”…

Nonetheless, I will continue to press on hard steadfastly and with earnest prayer and much effort and continue to assist each and everyone of you in this forum and throughout
our country by gathering and sharing all information pertaining to this bill and posting it here up until it passes or for better wording: “WHEN IT PASSES”!!! Because it will “PASS”!!! I will even monitor C-Span2 when possible as it is of course “The place to see this bill discussed and rambled upon” by our “LAWMAKERS”???

My Blessings and Good Sentiments to you all…

    GODPSEED ALL…

NY State…… Oh! I DO hope you are right – there are so many people here plugging along trying to find SOME kind of work to no avail!

I spend all my time looking for jobs in the paper on websites, posting my own Resume on all the sites I can think of, and we all know how disheartening it is to be rejected and most of the time not even acknowledged as a possible future employee.

Thanks for your upbeat post.Just made my day a little brighter :)

Oh, it is really my pleasure “Jackie”, Really!

I know of your struggle unfortunately all to well. I too have been unemployed for some time and the mind boggling aspect of all of this is that throughout all the “Doors” that I have knocked on for employment ie: in-person interviews, phone screenings, etc, etc, I have found that the individual(s); at the other end conducting
the interview(s); are either very poorly versed, or have poor or no proper phone etiquette let alone are able to engage in proper simple conversation.

I work in Healthcare/Insurance but due to the system of things in this here World/Nation I have really thought deeply and have been seeking employment in other fields even hospitality.

Well Jackie, I have to get going now but shall soon return in about an hour or so, I am very content to hear that I was able to enlighten your person somewhat. Thanks for the “Pep”!!!

The best to you in your employment search. “FORTITUDO”!!!

    Godspeed Jackie…

Why is it only for 7 weeks? I don’t know why it couldn’t be the full 13 weeks, How foolish, kinda like the guy traveling 50 miles to save a nickel. This extension helps the economy, it doesn’t go down the drain like the iraq war and money to the nation of Georgia.. This helps US.

I think if everyone told their age that post here you would find they are middle age with 10 years or less to work yet before retirement.

    CS: You have to had quit for “good cause attributable to the employer.” Unsafe working conditions;

    A job which is damaging to your health (with medical proof). The job must either cause your illness or make your medical condition worse;

A change in working conditions that is harmful to you. For example, you may be asked to work longer hours, take a reduction in pay, or have to do very different job duties.

Your employer broke your original contract. For example, your employer did not give you a pay increase that was promised in your contract.

My co-workers fell under this umbrella because our employer was involved in fraud. Unemployment was won – the quitting was attributable to the employer

CS: I forgot to mention that it was VERY important to list the ways that you initially tried to resolve the situation. (talking, sending an email, etc)

I think you can leave a job because of stress also, stress is a hazard to your health.
