Thank you, Senator Leahy.

Thank you, Senator. My partner and I need this bill if, after 5 years, we’re not to be separated permanently. Please help us and thousands like us keep our families intact.

My partner and I need this bill be have been together for 12 years, we are always concerned that one day we will be faced with being separated, or have to leave the place we have made home together, thank you Senator and all of those who are helping to end this unjust suffering.

As an ordained minister, I view this legislation as a long overdue act of social justice. Families need to be supported no matter how that family is constituted.

We need this bill. A government cannot stand in the way of the love of two people, regardless of sexual identity, race, or religion.
