Let us PLEASE fix one of the worst disasters created by the DMCA and the NET Act that had poor understanding of how the internet and technology play a role in peoples lives and work. They were well intentioned and worked out over this past decade to have been mistakes. Lets remedy this now.

On a side note, encryption should be like a fence around a property that is a reminder to people that the artist chooses to reserve their rights, and when people violate the copyright for commercial gain, the encryption can be used as proof that the alleged infringer was aware that the work was protected by copyright law.

A right that requires one to break the law to take advantage of is no right at all. Protect the right of creators and consumers together, and support this bill! </content>
