There are so many great programs out there. In my state we have 'First Five of California' that assist, encourages, and educates parents about the most important development years of a child's life. Both organizations and the families I know that have been involved have had great success, and the real winers are the kids :)

Lets take what has been a proven success and set a standard for development and education younger, and part of that is to give preschool opportunities the same way we have given kindergarten opportunities for a very long time.

The 'Return on Investment' is too high to be ignored. Please support this bill. </content>

This bill implements a policy with two obvious benefits:

1. Improved education for pre-schoolers (see Head Start)
2. Day care for working parents. This is a huge issue especially for single parents who typically can't find good quality and affordable day care for their children as they work. </content>
